AOC Legazpi Continues Upskill Activities for the Month of July
July 1, 2025 – Associate Auditor Ashley Marie Rances recently presented an introduction about Suralink, a platform designed to exchange documents between the auditors and clients. The presentation was conducted for the AOC Legazpi team, including their current batch of interns.
Ashley presented the platform’s features and led a live demonstration, covering functions like document uploads, deadline and password settings, comment management, progress reports, and client access. While the team had prior experience with the platform during fieldwork, the session offered deeper insights through hands-on learning and open discussion, allowing team members to ask questions, share concerns, and exchange ideas.
July 7, 2025 – To support the auditors in their upcoming audit engagements and outsourced services, Associate Auditor Fely Joy Ballon conducted a session on the shortcuts of Microsoft Excel. The presentation aimed to enhance the team’s knowledge and efficiency since Excel is an essential tool in most of their daily tasks.
Fely led an engaging Excel session featuring a live demonstration of time-saving shortcuts, which sparked active participation and insightful exchanges among the team. The session introduced new techniques that are expected to enhance efficiency and productivity in daily tasks. This marks the first installment of her Excel training series, with more valuable tips and strategies to follow next month.
July 14, 2025 – Associate Auditor Kristel Anne Ballaran delivered a presentation on Ikigai, a Japanese concept focusing on discovering one’s purpose in life. She explained that Ikigai is derived from the Japanese words “Iki” (to live) and “Gai” (reason), which when combined translates to “a reason to live”.
Kristel delivered an insightful presentation on Ikigai, framing it as a personal journey of self-discovery and purpose. She introduced the Ikigai diagram, which centers on four guiding questions: what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. The session also featured the Ten Rules of Ikigai, encouraging the team to find deeper meaning in both work and life. A heartfelt exchange of personal reflections followed, making the session both thought-provoking and inspiring.
The session served as a meaningful bonding experience for both the team and the interns to build deeper connections. The atmosphere in the office was filled with laughter, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose
