AOC Founding Partner Connect 2025: Staff and Manager Summit
July 21, 2025 – Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs successfully held its Founding Partner Connect 2025: Staff and Manager Summit at the Nexus Center, Makati City, led by CEO and Founding Partner Marycris Oplas. The event was thoughtfully organized by HR Managing Director Jenny Catapang and conducted in two separate sessions — one in the morning and another in the afternoon — each accommodating a different set of attendees.
A total of 212 employees from various branches participated in the summit: 116 attended the morning session, while 96 joined in the afternoon, ensuring broader inclusion and meaningful engagement across the firm.
The summit was a day filled with inspiration and motivation, as employees had the valuable opportunity to hear directly from the CEO. Ms. Oplas shared her vision of cultivating a growth mindset and encouraging both staff and managers to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit — a vital aspect of the firm’s ongoing succession planning.
She also shared her personal journey — from starting as a staff member to becoming the CEO and serving as the Chair of BKR International for two years until last year. Her path to success was not easy, but she faced every challenge with determination and a clear vision as a career-driven woman. Her story was truly inspiring for all team members who attended the event.
