Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs Joins ILECO I’s 48th AGMA and 5th SECA

May 3, 2025 – Iloilo I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ILECO I) held its 48th Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) and 5th State of the EC Address (SECA), with the theme “Beyond Power: Electric Cooperatives Empowering Communities, Changing Lives.” The event emphasized ILECO I’s strong commitment to community development, transparency, and service.

The AGMA was conducted simultaneously across three venues: the ILECO I Main Office in Tigbauan, the Miagao SK Covered Gym, and the Cabatuan Comprehensive National High School. The multi-site setup allowed for broad participation from cooperative members across the province.

As part of the official program, Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs was invited to attend as ILECO I’s Partner External Audit Firm. Representing the firm were Senior Manager Ms. Shantelle May Lara and Senior Auditor Ms. Bernadette Malingin, who delivered the external audit presentation.

Their participation underscored the cooperative’s continued efforts to uphold transparency and good governance through its partnership with the external audit team. The event also provided an opportunity for Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs to reaffirm its role as a trusted auditing partner, committed to supporting financial integrity, ethical standards, and sustainable growth within the electric cooperative community.
