Unveiling Unity: Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs

Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs August Breaktime began with an inspiring and uplifting mass led by the venerable Reverend Father Ogie Orpiada. It was a heartwarming event that left everyone feeling grateful and renewed. Following this, the event’s moderator, Aijah Melicha Rosales, warmly welcomed all employees and staff, officially opening the Special Breaktime celebration.

During the eighth Special Breaktime celebration, all new staff members are welcomed into their growing family, excited to witness whatever opportunities await them—recognizing all August birthday celebrants and employees who marked their work anniversaries, acknowledging their fruitful years with AOC, thanking them for their hard work and dedication, and congratulating newly promoted employees. It also announced the successful departure of the recent batch of secondees last August 4. Wishing them all success as they embark on an enriching training journey at Mize, CPAs Inc. in Topeka, Kansas, USA.

The event’s highlight is the unveiling of Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs logo for #OneAOC, which aims to symbolize unity as one firm, encompassing all 11 branches and representing a commitment to working together, supporting each other, and providing exceptional services to clients across all locations. As part of AOCs ongoing effort to foster a sense of unity within the organization, everyone is encouraged to update their profile pictures on Microsoft accounts, Skype, and Facebook. This small but meaningful step will visually represent a collective commitment to working as one cohesive team, regardless of individual roles or branch locations. It showcases solidarity as members of the Alas Oplas family.

Subsequently, the event was graced with AOCs highly esteemed CEO and Founding Partner, Marycris Oplas, who delivered her monthly updates and motivational talk. During her discourse, she provided in-depth updates regarding the company’s remarkable growth and expansion, now encompassing 11 branches throughout the country and resulting in an impressive workforce of 350 employees. And to spice things up, Rogielyn Barroga brought some excitement to the event by incorporating Buwan ng Wika in an icebreaker activity, adding a playful twist. Lastly, Breeze Fabiantis Gamutea of the Iloilo branch discussed the Tax updates for July 2023.

As the Special Breaktime celebration ended, the event cultivated a renewed sense of unity, purpose, and commitment. Recognizing each other’s achievements and milestones and looking forward to continuing growth and success until the next celebration carrying the spirit of #OneAOC.
