Uniting in Tradition: Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs’ Modern Filipiniana-Themed Year-End Celebration

The event commenced with the “AOC Kantahan,” a program that featured several employees showcasing their singing talents. The proceedings were formally opened with an opening prayer by Ms. Tina Estorque, Partner In Charge of Iloilo Branch. This was followed by an introductory video that highlighted the year 2023 and milestone of AOC. The Managing Partner, Ryan A. Sabug, delivered the Opening Remarks, which were followed by the introduction of the new hires for the year 2023. An intermission number was presented, following which the first part of the Team Presentations was conducted. To keep the audience engaged, icebreaker activities and raffles were conducted during the program. The program continued with the second part of the Team Presentations, followed by the presentation of the service awardees. Senior Partner Glesie R. Martinez delivered an inspiring message to the service awardees, which was followed by another intermission number. Atty. Neil Ochoco, Partner of the Bohol Branch, and Cristina D. Estorque, Partner of the Iloilo Branch, conducted the Awarding of Binibining Marilag and Ginoong Makisig. A video presentation of the Same Day Edit of the Year-end party was played, followed by the Awarding of the Team Presentation winner. Finally, AOC esteemed founding partner and CEO Marycris S. Oplas gave the closing remarks and announced the opening of new branch at Legazpi City with Partner In Charge Nathalie Lupango. As the event drew to a close, Senior Partner Glesie R. Martinez and Managing Partner Ryan Sabug made an unexpected announcement, revealing that three lucky employees would be awarded 11,000 pesos each in honor of AOC’s 33rd Anniversary (11 Branches, 11 Partners and 11 Directors). This announcement is a testament to the firm’s unwavering commitment to its employees and serves as a fitting end to the year. 

 As the year-end party of AOC ended, the employees left the Marquis Event’s Place, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, with happy memories and renewed energy. The event was a fitting tribute to the company’s achievements and milestones for the year that had passed. It was a celebration of the employees, their hard work, and their commitment to excellence. As the employees looked back on the year that had been and looked forward to the year that will be, they knew that they were part of a great company that values their talents, their passion, and their dedication. And with that in mind, they left the event ready to face new challenges and achieve new heights in the years to come.
