"It is Done. #ManifestingCPALicense" - Alas Oplas' October 2023 Breaktime Celebration
The October Firm-Wide Breaktime of Alas Oplas started with a meaningful and encouraging mass, which the respectable Father Ogie Orpiada officiated. The event was very touching and filled the attendees with gratitude and reinvigoration. Subsequently, the event moderator, Aijah Melicha Rosales, extended a warm welcome to all the employees and staff present, marking the commencement of the Special Breaktime celebration with the theme “It is Done. #ManifestingCPALicense”.
At the tenth Special Breaktime celebration, all new staff members are welcomed into AOC growing family, thrilled to see the opportunities that lie ahead of them. As part of the celebration, we recognize all staff members who marked their work anniversaries in October and those who recently celebrated their birthdays. Then, we took the opportunity to commend the hard work and dedication of the long-standing employees who have contributed to the growth of AOC over the years.
Furthermore, AOC is proud to recognize the outstanding achievement of the four exceptional secondees – Gerald Gonzalbo, Princess Villareal, Shantell Lara, and Christian Martinez – for successfully completing their secondment to Mize CPAs Inc. in Kansas, USA. During their two-month stay in Kansas, USA, the four secondee shared their invaluable experiences, overcame challenges, and gained valuable insights that will undoubtedly benefit the firm and clients. AOC is proud of their remarkable achievement and grateful for the knowledge and expertise they have brought back. In addition to this wonderful accomplishment, everyone greeted Nica Ng of the AOC Ortigas Branch with heartfelt congratulations on the joyous occasion of the new addition to her family, baby Valiya Ranaia.
Subsequently, as part of AOC’s continuous effort to achieve sustainability, every progress will be featured in the ESG corner in connection with last month’s Environmental, Social, and Governmental (ESG) drive. In attendance at the event was the distinguished Senior Partner of Alas Oplas, Glesie R. Martinez, who provided the regular monthly updates and prepared an inspiring presentation entitled “The Truth,” emphasizing that when you know your truth, you will consider every circumstance in your life like a magnifying event. By doing so, you can see the bigger picture and understand the impact of your decisions and actions. Lastly, Human Resource Managing Director Jenny Catapang announced the upcoming Christmas Party event. To kick things off and add excitement to the event, Rogielyn Barroga, the game master, dedicated the engaging icebreaker activity to the CPALE finishers this October 2023.
The October Breaktime celebration of AOC was another resounding success, filled with meaningful moments, recognition of accomplishments, and exciting announcements. As the event ended, everyone felt reinvigorated, inspired, and motivated to continue pushing towards their goals. With the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration, the AOC family looks forward to achieving even greater heights in the future.
