September 16, 2026 – what started as a routine monthly meeting turned into something far more meaningful for the AOC Payroll and HR Team at the Parañaque Talent Hub. The team took a well-deserved three-hour break from their daily routine for a Team Reset Program designed to help everyone reconnect—not just as colleagues, but as people.
The session, thoughtfully facilitated by Ms. Cris Lorenzana, carried the theme “𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 — 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗢𝗖 𝗛𝗥, 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.” True to its name, the program was built around activities that pushed team members to look past job titles and tenure and get to know each other on a more personal level. From candid Class Photos and the lighthearted “Different Colors, One AOC HR” segment to the icebreaker game “Find Your Match” and the fun-filled “Team Dom” and “Team Tin” Interesting Facts rounds, every activity was a small invitation to see a teammate in a new light. The session wound down with a heartfelt “Thank You + Kisses” segment, capping off an afternoon full of laughter, learning, and genuine connection.
In her closing remarks, HR Managing Director Jenny Cabello Catapang underscored the heart of the day’s message: the importance of truly knowing one another as a team. She encouraged every member to build wider roofs rather than walls — a reminder that inclusion and openness, not division, are what make a team resilient.
Looking Ahead: Structure, Standards, and Shared Expectations
With the team reconnected, the meeting moved into a forward-looking discussion on plans and programs following the recently concluded Strategic Planning meeting attended by its HR Managing Director, JCC. She walked the team through the new team structure, including the addition of new members, and introduced the Key Performance Indicators that will help guide and measure the team’s performance moving forward.
For alignment, Rogielyn Barroga, Assistant Manager for HR, also discussed the recently approved Office Rules and Regulations for the AOC Paranaque Branch, covering expectations around professionalism, workspace use, property care, environmental responsibility, confidentiality, and office hours. These guidelines are meant to keep the workplace safe, secure, and productive for everyone.
Capping It Off with Celebration
To close the day on a warm note, the team also took time to celebrate the birthdays and work anniversaries of team members — a fitting way to end a session all about connection, with a moment of genuine appreciation for the people who make the team what it is.
For the AOC Payroll and HR team, this gathering was more than a reset and more than a briefing — it was a reminder that a stronger team is built both on genuine connection and on shared clarity about where it’s headed next. One roof, many colors, one stronger team.
