AOC Team Engages in Peer Review Audit with BKR Member Firm in Indonesia

August 27 to September 7, 2024 – The Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs team, led by Senior Partner Glesie Martinez, along with Senior Manager Maricar Austria and Managers Lian Santos and Jonas Bravo, embarked on a significant collaborative effort in Jakarta, Indonesia, with Doli, Bambang, Sulistyanto, Dadang & Ali, a BKR member firm under the leadership of Managing Partner Triyanto.

This initiative focused on conducting a peer review audit aimed at evaluating compliance with ISQC1 standards and the firm’s quality manual. Throughout the visit, the AOC team engaged in a comprehensive inspection of the firm’s practices, emphasizing the importance of adhering to best practices in auditing.

The inspection process included a two-level review: a thorough firm-level assessment and an engagement-level review, where three completed audit engagements were selected for in-depth evaluation. This structured approach not only reinforced the commitment to maintaining high-quality standards but also facilitated valuable knowledge exchange between the teams.

This collaboration highlights the importance of continuous improvement within the BKR International network, dedicated to driving growth, fostering collaboration, and enabling members to thrive both professionally and personally.
