AOC Makati Tax Team Achieves Another Milestone with ICPA Report Filing

January 19, 2026 — The AOC Makati Local Tax Team, with the support of the International Tax Team and our dedicated Interns, has successfully submitted to the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA)—and coordinated with the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue – Law and Litigation Division (BIR‑LLD)—the ICPA Report for assessments covering all taxes for Taxable Years 2017 and 2018 for taxpayers under the Real Estate and Shipping Industry, respectively.

This engagement was far from easy. Behind the scenes, our Tax Supervisors (Angelo Honor, Jowin Urriza, and Pauline Galsa), Juniors, Interns, and especially our Senior Associates (Evamel Illustrisimo, Aimee Bolante, Edzel Gamala, and Gian Sotto) who led these engagements, persevered through significant challenges. There were sleepless nights—drafting the report, studying the cases, conducting research, and engaging in long discussions with the team, partners, lawyers, and key stakeholders. Yet, despite the pressure, the team delivered with commitment and excellence.
