AOC Legazpi Attends 2025 Annual General Membership Assembly of ALECO

July 5, 2025 – AOC Legazpi Partner-In-Charge Nathalie Lupango attended the 2025 Annual General Membership Assembly of ALECO, held with the theme “Beyond Power: Electric Cooperatives Empowering Communities, Changing Lives”.

The event began with a parade by BC ROTC and Band, followed by the national anthem, invocation, and ALECO hymn. Key messages were delivered by local and national officials, including Legazpi City Mayor Hisham Ismail, NEA Administrator Hon. Antonio Almeda, and Albay Governor Hon. Noel Rosal. Undersecretary Rowena Cristina Guevara gave an inspirational message, followed by an oath-taking ceremony. The program concluded with closing remarks from Atty. Gwen Enciso-Kyamko.

The second part of the assembly focused on the Business Proper, beginning with a call to order to determine the quorum. This was followed by the reading of AGMA notices and the minutes of the previous meeting. The management report and new business matters were then presented. The agenda included the approval of an additional PHP 10.00 buffer fund, the ratification of the Approved PHP 200 million Loan from the National Electrification Administration (NEA), and the discussion of other matters. An open forum was held to entertain questions and concerns from the attendees. The assembly concluded with a raffle draw and an intermission number, bringing the event to a lively and engaging close.
