AOC Launches Firm-Wide Webinar Tax Series

November 20–26, 2025 – Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs successfully conducted a four-day firm-wide Webinar Tax Series, bringing together over 160 employees from offices nationwide for an engaging and educational experience.

The series kicked off on November 20 with an insightful session on Documentary Stamp Tax, led by AOC Tax Partner Fernando Santos and moderated by Melisa Gahoman from Corporate Communications. Fernan shared expert knowledge and practical insights through real-world examples and interactive exercises, capped with a quiz to reinforce learning.

On November 21, the discussion continued with “Unpacking the Expanded Withholding Tax System (EWT): Compliance, Updates, and Practical Application.”

Day 3, held on November 25, focused on “Understanding the Finals: Final Withholding Tax & Final Withholding VAT.”

The series concluded on November 26 with “Knowing Your Tax: Withholding Tax on Compensation & Fringe Benefit Tax.”
