AOC Internship Program Provides Hands-On Experience in Tax and Shared Services

December 17, 2025 — The Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs Head Office held a simple yet meaningful celebration to mark the successful completion of the internship program. The activity was led by Tax Partner Fernando Santos and Director Sofia Rosal who warmly welcomed the interns and acknowledged their dedication and hard work.

Three interns from AISAT College, Dasmariñas City — Danica Geronimo, Franco Miguel Felix, and Israel Ferrer — officially began their roles with the Makati Tax Team, completing 400 hours of hands-on experience in tax-related functions. Their tasks included practical exposure to Tax Audit Investigation of LOA and ICPA cases. They also spent 200 hours with the Shared Services Team, gaining practical exposure to Accounting, Billing, and Collection processes.

The program also welcomed other interns from various schools — University of the East – Manila, San Beda College Alabang – Muntinlupa, Centro Escolar University, and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig — who were assigned to the Tax Team, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and teamwork were encouraged. This internship program provided all interns with valuable professional experience, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting and preparing them for future career opportunities within the firm.
