Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs Promotes Faith and Well-Being Through October Breaktime

October 2, 2025 – Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs held its October Breaktime, themed “Faithful Minds, Peaceful Hearts.” The session brought employees together to reflect, connect, and support one another. It emphasized the importance of caring for both mind and heart, reminding everyone that faith, empathy, and openness are essential to achieving true well-being.

To start the day with reflection, a Holy Mass was celebrated by Reverend Father Ogie Orpiada. He shared that being constant in little things leads to greater things, as these small acts form the foundation of our spiritual life and bring us closer to God.

In line with this month’s theme, the session focused on supporting one another and learning practical ways to care for our minds and hearts. The event aimed to help employees build healthier habits, reduce stress, and strengthen emotional resilience through simple activities, shared stories, and inspiring insights. Ms. Glesie R. Martinez, Senior Partner, served as the speaker, sharing her personal experiences on faith, resilience, and the importance of mutual support in overcoming life’s challenges, reminding everyone that our experiences do not define who we are but help shape the strength within us.

Following this, Mr. Marvin Cadapan extended a warm and gracious welcome to all attendees, offering heartfelt greetings to the employees. As part of the monthly program, the event included the introduction of new hires, the celebration of October Birthday and the recognition of employees reaching significant milestones to AOC.

In this segment of #AOCWinStories, we proudly highlight the twelve AOC representatives who participated in the BKR Asia Pacific 2025 Future Leaders Program. During the meeting, three participants — Ms. Nica Ng, Senior Manager from SF Audit; Ms. Joannah Gonzales, Senior Manager from Alabama Audit; and Ms. Rogielyn Barroga, HR Assistant Manager — shared their valuable insights and key takeaways from the program. Their reflections underscored the importance of leadership, collaboration, and continuous growth, inspiring others to pursue excellence and uphold the AOC spirit of learning and connection.
