Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs (AOC) held a three-day training session with Lindquist von Husen & Joyce LLP, a BKR member firm from California, USA, from September 21 to 23, 2026, at Space at One Ayala, Function Rooms C1–C3. The training was attended by AOC’s Bulacan – SF Accounting Team, led by Partner Meg Paloyo, providing the team with an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and gain insights from professionals with international experience.

The sessions brought together professionals from Lindquist von Husen & Joyce LLP, including Audit Partner Charlotte Tay; Partner Rita Dela Cruz; Client Accounting and Advisory Senior Manager Jennifer Cabania; Client Accounting and Advisory Leads Sean Kozuszek and Sherry Lu; Client Accounting and Advisory Lead in CAS+ Hannah Nenadich; and Client Accounting and Advisory Senior Specialist Alvin Abraham.

Throughout the three-day training, discussions centered on audit and accounting practices, client-related matters, and approaches relevant to the teams’ professional work. Beyond the technical discussions, the sessions also encouraged the exchange of experiences and perspectives, allowing participants to learn from the practices and insights shared by fellow professionals from within the BKR network.

The training concluded with a creative activity where participants presented their key takeaways from the three-day session. The activity allowed the team to reflect on the lessons they gained, share their insights, and express how they could apply their learning in their respective roles.
