July 7, 2026 – The AOC Central Tax Advisory Services Team, led by Laisa I. Taypen, Senior Tax Associate, conducted an orientation for eight interns from Central Luzon State University (CLSU) at the Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs (AOC) Makati Head Office as they officially began their internship program with the firm.

The orientation introduced the interns to AOC’s culture, core values, and professional standards while providing an overview of the Central Tax Advisory Services Team’s functions and responsibilities. The session also covered workplace policies, internship expectations, and the essential knowledge and skills needed to help the students maximize their practical training and professional development.

Through interactive discussions and guidance from the team, the eight interns gained valuable insights into AOC’s tax advisory services and the day-to-day responsibilities of tax professionals. The orientation marked the beginning of a meaningful learning journey, equipping the students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience as they prepare for future careers in the accounting profession.
