July 24–25, 2026 – Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs (AOC) proudly sent five representatives to the 2026 Future Leaders Program, a leadership development initiative organized by BKR International Asia Pacific under the theme, “Empower Your Leadership Journey.” The program culminated in Phuket, Thailand with its in-person Session 4, “Disrupt Everything – Innovate for Impact (DEI),” bringing together emerging leaders from BKR member firms across the Asia-Pacific region.

Representing AOC at the in-person session were Jacquilyn Corpuz, Jeremy Aguada, and Shanen Estrella from the Makati Audit Team, Shaira Fetizanan from the SF Accounting Team, and Kate Delantar from the FCIE Branch. The session was facilitated by Mennen Aracid, Training Consultant from FranklinCovey, who guided participants through interactive discussions and collaborative activities centered on innovation, adaptability, and leading through disruption. Through these engagements, the AOC delegation gained practical frameworks and leadership strategies for navigating the rapidly evolving professional landscape.

The Future Leaders Program marked the capstone of a leadership journey that began several weeks earlier through three supplementary virtual sessions. The series opened on June 25 with a session on mastering supervision in the age of disruption, followed by a July 2 session on improving managerial effectiveness and resilience, and concluded on July 9 with a session on adaptability and the ethical use of digital tools for next-generation leaders. Together, these sessions built the foundation of strategic mindset and leadership competencies that participants carried into the in-person program.
