July 9โ10, 2026 โ Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs held its leadership program for senior-level employees at the scenic Brizo Hotel & Mountain View Resort in Silang, Tagaytay. This transformative two-day event brought together 67 senior-level employees from nationwide branches, aiming to develop their leadership potential and strengthen their sense of teamwork.
The first day of the program focused on equipping senior employees with the theoretical tools and mindset needed to transition from associates to accountable leaders within the firm. Ms. Cris Lorenzana, Chief Inspiration Officer of TrainingEdge Inc., captivated participants with her expertise, offering practical insights and strategies for leadership empowerment. This inspiring session was thoughtfully organized by the AOC HR team, led by HR Managing Director Jenny Catapang and Assistant Manager Rogielyn Barroga showcasing the firm’s dedication to professional growth. Meg Paloyo- Mamuyac, Partner In Charge of Bulacan Branch, graced the event with a warm welcome to the participantsโmost of whom came from her own team.
On the second day, gloomy skies and a passing storm set in over Tagaytay โ but the weather was no match for the team’s spirit. Undeterred by the rain, participants were grouped into teams for a series of engaging games and team-building activities, fostering collaboration and camaraderie despite the elements. If anything, the storm brought the team even closer together, as each group leaned on one another and found new ways to bond through the challenge. The day culminated in meaningful conversations and shared laughter across the groups, further solidifying bonds across the team.
