Makati Audit, Cabanatuan and Alabama Audit Team October Monthly Breaktime
Last October 30, 2025, the Makati Audit, Cabanatuan and Alabama Audit team came together for a virtual Monthly Team Breaktime with a spooky twist. Dubbed the “Spook-tacular Breaktime,” the event brought Halloween cheer to the team while continuing our tradition of celebrating excellence, learning, and camaraderie.
The program opened with the Opening Prayer and the Philippine National Anthem, followed by a festive welcome from the Host Team. Participants embraced the Halloween spirit, showcasing their creativity through themed outfits and fun looks. Firm updates were then presented, highlighting recent achievements, system enhancements, and important reminders on compliance and upcoming audit milestones.
Another highlight of the event was the warm welcome extended to the newly formed Alabama Team, whose members impressed everyone by showcasing their talents and enthusiasm.
The spotlight then turned to our Employees of the Month, recognized for their outstanding performance: Chosen Josiah Huerta – Makati Audit; Micha Odarbe – Cabanatuan Audit; and Shanen Lorraine Estrella – Makati Audit.
Adding flair to the celebration, the Spooktacular Style Awards were presented to recognize costume creativity and Halloween spirit: Best in Costume: Carmela Dahan and Runner-Up: Ms. Maricar Austria.
The session was further enriched by segments such as Quality Check-Ins and Learning Byte, which provided valuable insights on recent regulatory developments and industry best practices. The Upcoming Priorities presentation also gave clarity on key deadlines, events, and focus areas for the coming month, ensuring alignment across the firm.
The much-anticipated E-Day Encore segment made a fun return, where “E-day slippers” (those who spoke Filipino during English Day Mondays) faced lighthearted English challenges and joined a talent showcase—encouraging communication confidence in an engaging and playful way.
The afternoon concluded with interactive games and shared laughter, proving that even in a virtual setting, meaningful connection and celebration remain strong. Overall, the October Breaktime was a perfect blend of recognition, learning, and seasonal fun—an inspiring way to wrap up the month.
