AOC Legazpi Auditors Head to Nueva Vizcaya

August 4-8, 2025 – Associate Auditors Ashley Marie Rances and Kristel Anne Ballaran of the AOC Legazpi Branch travelled to Nueva Vizcaya to conduct an audit for a client bank. This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Legazpi branch and the Ortigas branch, highlighting the strength of teamwork across different branches.

The Ortigas branch sought the assistance of AOC Legazpi’s Associate Auditors for this engagement, recognizing the skills that the Legazpi team could contribute. Unlike their previous audit engagements, this assignment placed them in the role of internal auditors. This allows them to approach the process from a different perspective. This will provide them an opportunity to expand their professional expertise and deepen their understanding of internal auditing practices. It further equipped them with valuable insights and lessons that they can apply to future engagements within their own branch.
