San Agustin University Accountancy Students Complete OJT at AOC Iloilo Branch

The Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs – Iloilo branch proudly welcomed BS Accountancy students from San Agustin University for their on-the-job training (OJT), which lasted nearly two and a half months. These future professionals gained hands-on experience in audit fieldwork, vouching, and taxation — the primary area of immersion at the Iloilo office. Their contributions played a vital role in supporting the branch’s compliance efforts during this busy period. Three of the OJT students completed their training in the second week of April, while the remaining four are scheduled to finish by the fourth week. On April 14, 2025, Mr. Ralph Ean Braza, their adviser, visited the office and had a brief discussion with Ms. Kimberly Noble, Partner-in-Charge of AOC Iloilo, about the progress of his students.

In a gesture of appreciation and camaraderie, Atty. Tina Hautea, a close friend of PIC Ms. Kimberly, treated the team to snacks, making the day even more memorable. The Iloilo branch continues to value partnerships with academic institutions, not just as a means of giving back, but also to nurture and prepare the next generation of accounting professionals.
