Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs kicked off its much-anticipated April Breaktime Celebration on April 02, 2025. With over 250 attendees from its 13 offices nationwide, the event was a momentous occasion to reflect on past achievements and embrace new beginnings throughout the month. This time, it was not just a simple get-together—but also an opportunity to gain valuable insights aligned with monthly theme.
The celebration commenced with a solemn Holy Mass presided over by Reverend Father Ogie Orpiada. In his homily, Father Orpiada imparted a profound reminder that all of us are sinners, and as such, we are called to pursue peace with one another. He emphasized that true peace can only be attained through the promotion and embodiment of the values and principles of Christ. When we commit ourselves to living out these Christian virtues, genuine peace will naturally dwell within us.
Following this, Marvin Cadapan extended a warm and gracious welcome to all attendees, offering heartfelt greetings to the employees. The program proceeded with an enlightening knowledge-sharing session led by Mr. Juan M. Ilar III, a Member Services Officer III from the Pag-IBIG Fund, Ayala Malls Circuit Branch. Mr. Ilar is actively involved in discussing and guiding members to fully understand and appreciate the value of the Pag-IBIG Fund programs and the various benefits they offer. Through his expertise and unwavering dedication to public service, he has made significant contributions in helping countless individuals and organizations maximize their membership privileges and take full advantage of the benefits provided by the Fund.
Lastly, as part of the monthly program, the event included the introduction of new hires, the celebration of April Birthday and the recognition of employees reaching significant milestone to AOC. This was followed by a fun and lively ice breaker game led by Rogielyn Barroga. Overall, the monthly program proved to be a meaningful and enjoyable gathering that brought the AOC community closer together.
