With over 30 years as a Certified Public Accountant, Rodel is a seasoned professional committed to excellence in accounting and financial leadership. As Partner-In-Charge of AOC Laguna Branch, he leads operations, client relations, and business development, ensuring exceptional service.

His expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership drives growth and efficiency. Dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation, he strengthens AOC Laguna’s position as a trusted partner in audit, accounting, and advisory services.

Rodel’s career began at Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc., where he joined as a Finance Clerk in 1991. Through dedication and expertise, he rose through the ranks and became a Finance Manager at the company’s Head Office in 2007. He later held key leadership roles as a Finance and Information Manager in an electronics and construction company and subsequently served as a Finance Director and Head of Finance, overseeing financial operations and corporate strategy.

In 2019, Rodel transitioned into public practice, forming a partnership with his colleague. After five years of building a strong foundation in the industry, he took the next step in his professional journey by joining Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs, where he now leads the Laguna Branch, guiding clients through regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic growth.

Beyond his professional career, Rodel has been a distinguished achiever since his early years. He was recognized with the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award, honored as an Insular Life Gold Medal Awardee, and was a Mathematics Division Quiz Bee Champion in Laguna during his elementary years—a testament to his analytical mindset and leadership potential. Demonstrating continued academic excellence, he earned a Master of Business Administration – Regis Program from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in 2022, graduating as a Silver Medalist.
