Loraine is a Partner at Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs, serving as the firm’s Technical and Quality Assurance Partner. A Certified Public Accountant with over a decade of experience, she oversees the firm’s quality initiatives and champions the integration of automation and data-driven tools in audit workflows to improve efficiency, enhance insights, and ensure compliance with professional standards.

In addition to her role at the head office, Loraine has taken on the position of Partner in charge of the Cabanatuan Branch. Her responsibilities extend to managing the branch’s operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to clients.

Loraine’s skillset encompasses a wide range of industries, including Banking & Finance, Business Processing Outsourcing, Car Dealership, Casino and Gambling Institutions, Hotel and Restaurant, Leisure and Entertainment, Manpower Services, Manufacturing and Export, Non-stock, non-profit organizations, Rental and Leasing, Real Estate and Property Development, Regional Operating Headquarters, Trading, Distribution, and Import, as well as Travel & Tours. Her expertise in these areas allows her to provide comprehensive and tailored audit and assurance services to clients across various sectors.

As part of her professional development, Loraine had the opportunity to be seconded to Walker Wayland in Sydney, Australia, a BKR member. During her secondment, she gained knowledge and experience in using the Caseware Audit System, from client set-up to completion of audits. Furthermore, Loraine was part of the training team for the Caseware implementation project in Indonesia in November 2016, showcasing her ability to contribute to system improvements and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, Loraine attended the BKR International Asia Pacific’s first Future Leaders’ Program in Thailand in 2019. This program provided her with valuable insights into leadership and fostered professional growth and networking opportunities.
