Eljohn is the Partner-in-Charge of the Silang-Tagaytay Branch of Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs. A Certified Public Accountant with more than a decade of dedicated service, he has built extensive experience and expertise in audit, tax advisory, and compliance services since passing the CPA Board Examination in 2015.

He began his professional journey as an Audit Associate in the Cavite Office, where he spent six years strengthening his technical expertise and leadership skills, eventually rising to the position of Manager. He later transitioned to the Tax Advisory and Compliance Services Group in the Makati Head Office, where he advanced from Manager to Partner in 2024. In 2025, he was appointed as the Partner-in-Charge of the newly established Silang-Tagaytay Branch, where he now oversees the branch’s operations and client engagements.

Throughout his audit career, Eljohn handled various engagements involving companies registered with the SEC, BIR, and PEZA. He conducted comprehensive audit procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients’ financial statements across industries such as manufacturing, trading, leisure and entertainment, healthcare, and electric cooperatives.

In the field of tax services, he is responsible for the preparation and review of BIR filings, ensuring clients’ tax compliance, handling BIR tax assessments, and supervising engagements involving business registrations, tax refunds, and agreed-upon procedures such as ICPA engagements.

Beyond client engagements, Eljohn is also a seasoned speaker and resource person, conducting seminars and presentations on audit methodology, accounting standards, PFRS for electric cooperatives, and tax updates for both internal teams and clients.

Further demonstrating his commitment to leadership and professional growth, he participated in the 2023 BKR Asia Pacific Future Leaders Program held in Malaysia and attended the 2024 BKR Asia Pacific Regional Conference.
