Glesie has more than 20 years of solid experience in fields of audit and other assurance services, finance, consolidation, tax, and accounting. She handled both external (financial) and internal audit services and other assurances services including tax services engagements to Philippine and Singapore based clients in different industries.
Her industry expertise in audit includes power generation and distribution; manufacturing companies in PEZA zones such as those engaged in semicon, textiles and garments, food processing and packaging; business process outsourcing; retail and distribution; hospital and clinics; pharmaceuticals; bonded warehouse, logistics and freight forwarding; car dealership; schools; hotels and theme park; travel and tours; and agriculture. She is also exposed in the conduct of program audit to different Non-Stock, Not for Profit Organization; business process review for set-up and/or appraisal, valuation audit for merger and acquisitions and agreed upon procedures for wide range of purpose.
In 2005 to 2006, she has been seconded to RSM Chio Lim in Singapore where she gains her in-depth experience in healthcare services (hospitals and clinics); schools and training centers; and trading and distribution industry. She also served as audit coordinator to a Palm Plantation company in Indonesia listed in Singapore Stock Exchange.
Glesie was also a part-time lecturer at De La Salle University – Dasmariñas, where she taught Practical Auditing, Principles and Concepts of Auditing, Basic Accounting, and Cost Accounting. She was part of the teaching force at Lyceum of the Philippines University, handling courses such as Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, Cost Accounting, and Basic Accounting.
She also served as a speaker in various seminars covering topics on updates in accounting and auditing standards, as well as regulatory updates from the SEC, CDA, and BOA.
