𝐀𝐎𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

October 21–24 and 29, 2025 – Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs successfully kicked off its firmwide 2025 Audit Methodology Webinar Series, drawing participation from over 160 employees across all 16 offices nationwide. The sessions were expertly moderated by Melisa Gahoman from the Corporate Communications Department.

The series opened with Audit Partner Loraine San Pedro, who led the first session on “Client Acceptance and Continuance.” She shared valuable experiences and insights, setting an inspiring tone for the week. On the second day, Senior Audit Manager Nathalie Shane Iral discussed Pre-Planning, followed by Senior Audit Manager Anne Maricar Austria, who presented Audit Planning on the third day.

On the fourth day, Senior Audit Manager from Cavite Branch Lian Seth Santos facilitated Fieldwork Part 1: TOC, SARPS, Sampling, and JSSD Testing, Scoping. The series continued on October 29, featuring Fieldwork Part 2: Test of Details per Account – Balance Sheet and Income Statement Accounts, led by Audit Manager Jenalyn Baptista from the Ortigas Branch, and Part 3: Inventory Count and External Confirmation, facilitated by Audit Manager Allan Quibuyen, also from the Ortigas Branch. The speakers shared their expertise, insights, and practical approaches to ensure effective audit execution.

Each session was highly engaging, with participants actively sharing key takeaways and insights. Top Performers were recognized daily for their enthusiasm and commitment.

The webinar series will continue in November, reinforcing AOC’s commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and excellence in auditing—further strengthening the quality of service the firm provides to its valued clients.
