AOC Legazpi Launches Upskill Activities
June 23, 2025 – In line with AOC Legazpi’s commitment to continuous improvement and digital innovation, Associate Auditor Leojelaine Igcoy recently explored an online training session on DataSnipper, a powerful Excel-based automation tool designed to streamline audit processes.
Following the training, Ms. Leojelaine shared her learnings with the team through a PowerPoint presentation. She introduced the core features of DataSnipper, highlighting its ability to automate tasks such as document matching, data extraction, and cross-referencing within Excel. The team recognized the significance of DataSnipper in supporting future audit engagements and ensuring data integrity throughout the audit process.
June 26, 2025 – AOC Legazpi also continues to embrace other digital tools, including the Astrea System. On May 14, 2025, the team participated in an online Astrea Training session where they gained valuable insights on how to navigate the system.
Following the training, Associate Auditor Claudine Jane Hiban applied her learnings by utilizing Astrea for the branch’s outsourced bookkeeping services. She introduced the system to the team by demonstrating its key features and explaining how she records entries for check and journal vouchers, as well as how the Trial Balance is generated. Active discussion was encouraged, as the team led by Partner-In-Charge Nathalie Lupango exchanged ideas and asked questions to better understand the system’s application.
Looking ahead, AOC Legazpi remains optimistic about integrating these digital tools in future engagements. The team expects that these innovations will lead to more efficient and accurate audit procedures and outsourcing services while maintaining their commitment to quality and excellence.
In addition, other team members, including Partner-In-Charge Nathalie Lupango are set to present weekly upskill presentations, starting this July. Each week, a different team member will share insights on a selected topic to enhance the team’s knowledge and skills.
In the first week of July, Associate Auditor Ashley Marie Rances will present an introduction to Suralink, a platform designed to facilitate the exchange of documents between clients and auditors. In the second week, Associate Auditor Fely Joy Ballon will present Excel capabilities, highlighting its key functions and useful shortcuts. For the third week, Associate Auditor Kristel Anne Ballaran will present Ikigai, a Japanese concept centered on self-reflection and achieving work-life balance. Concluding the series, Partner-In-Charge Nathalie Lupango will provide an informative overview of eBIR.
