AOC Parañaque Team Explores Cebu City

Labor Day is a time to recognize and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of our employees. For the AOC Parañaque team, it also marks the beginning of one of the most anticipated moments of the year. This year, the team—including members from HR, Payroll, and Corporate Communications—chose to explore the vibrant charm of Cebu City, known as the “Queen City of the South.”

On May 1, the team kicked off their vacation at Mactan Newtown Beach, located in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. They began the day with a walk along the beach, enjoying the fresh sea breeze and the serene beauty of the ocean. It was a peaceful start to their much-awaited break and a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy time together as a team.

The adventure continued the next day as the team took on the thrilling challenge of canyoneering at Kawasan Falls in Badian, Cebu. With a mix of excitement and nerves, they jumped into crystal-clear pools, slid down waterfalls, and cheered each other on—turning fear into fun and strengthening their bond. Midway through the trail, they paused to share a meal and take in the stunning views, creating a peaceful moment amid the adventure.

After exploring Cebu’s natural wonders, the team went on a city tour. They visited the vibrant Sirao Garden, admired the grand Temple of Leah, and relaxed at the cozy Lavie Parisienne. They also stopped by the historic Magellan’s Cross and capped off the day with a feast of Cebu’s famous lechon. To end their journey, they shopped for pasalubong to bring home a piece of Cebu to their loved ones.

Overall, the 3 day trip of the team was an incredible experience for all. It wasn’t just about spending money or sightseeing—it was an opportunity to strengthen teamwork, deepen relationships, and create lasting memories together. The trip brought the team closer, allowing them to connect on a personal level and build stronger bonds that will continue to support their work back home.
