Christian is a Certified Public Accountant who passed the board exam in 2014. With over eleven years of industry experience, he is recognized for his expertise in Accounting, Audit, and Business Advisory Services. Christian has worked across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, shared services, publishing, pharmaceuticals, and business process outsourcing. Prior to joining Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs, he gained substantial experience as a Finance Controller in a BPO industry, General Accountant in a shared services environment, and Payable Specialist in trading and distribution.

Christian joined Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs in 2020 as an Outsource Manager at the Cavite Office. His leadership and commitment to excellence led to his promotion as Director and later as Partner for Outsourcing Services in 2024. In 2025, he was appointed as the Partner-In-Charge of the FCIE Branch, where he now oversees the overall branch operations.

He leads a wide range of services, including Outsourcing, Deployment, Reconciliation, Bookkeeping and Accounting, Agreed-Upon Procedures, and Sales Audits. His expertise includes business process review and improvement, cost control through project and variance analysis, financial reporting for regulatory and management purposes, as well as budgeting and forecasting. Christian also manages various strategic projects such as backlog updates, accounting reconciliations, internal control assessments, and the development of financial models to support corporate decision-making and compliance requirements.

Christian has been seconded to Brisbane, Australia, on two occasions for comprehensive training in accounting, finance, and financial reporting processes. In August 2023, he was also seconded to a member firm in Kansas, USA, where he gained insights into different accounting systems and applications. He participated in the BKR Asia Pacific Future Leaders Program in Malaysia in 2023 and attended the BKR Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Taiwan in the same year. Additionally, Christian is an active in-house speaker on Accounting Processes and System Navigation, sharing his knowledge with the team.
