On January 12, 2023, the Human Resources Payroll Team convened a significant virtual meeting to discuss and elucidate critical details regarding the implementation of the revolutionary MiHCM Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The meeting aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the new system and its various functionalities, enabling the team to make informed decisions and ensure a smooth transition. The MiHCM system was launched in October 2023 and underwent its inaugural trial in November of the same year, enabling employees to monitor their time in and out seamlessly. This innovative system will determine the monthly wages of AOC employees, improving efficiency and transparency.

A diverse group of distinguished employees, including directors, associates, and partners from different branches of the firm, attended the virtual meeting. The Managing Director of Human Resources, Ms. Jenny Cabello-Catapang, welcomed the attendees and outlined the objectives of the meeting. Christianne Grizelle E. Poliquit, a skilled HR/payroll associate, played a significant role in guiding the discussions about the new system. Her expertise helped ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Grizelle’s comprehensive presentation covered the spectrum of MiHCM features, covering various aspects, including the system’s features, benefits, and limitations, as well as the necessary steps required for its successful implementation. The meeting was instrumental in ensuring that the team was adequately prepared to handle any challenges that may arise during the transition process, and it marked a significant milestone in the organization’s quest to streamline its HR processes.

Following the presentation, a lively Q&A session provided attendees with the opportunity to address concerns and clarify any potential misconceptions about the new system. The meeting concluded successfully, leaving participants enriched with new insights.
