Rex is a Partner at AOC La Union Branch, with over twenty years of extensive experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Before joining the firm, Rex’s career journey began as a Loan Officer at a rural local bank, where he developed a solid foundation in financial management.

His career progressed significantly when he took on the role of Regional Accountant for the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Region 1, a position he has held since 2009. During this time, he also established his own successful accounting firm in La Union, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to serving the local community for over seven years.

In November 2024, Rex brought his wealth of knowledge and expertise to Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs, taking on the role of Partner at the La Union Branch. As a visionary and dedicated leader, he ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality accounting, audit, and advisory services to clients in La Union and the surrounding regions. His strategic approach and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in enhancing AOC’s presence and reinforcing its commitment to excellence in northern Philippines.
